Floating Information Center

Back in 2018, our first few months in our new home...

Getting tired of losing our keys, mail, wallet, and other stuff in the chaos of our tiny foyer. We really needed a spot to stash them where we could easily grab them on our way out and a dumping space for all incoming mails.

The only space we had was a narrow nook by the stairs - too small for a normal table or a cabinet... So I built a floating shelf that fits perfectly - problem solved!

I also built 2 jigs for this build, one is a jointer jig for my table saw and the other is a drill guide for my handheld drill. Both kinda work but still need a few tweaks, but it was fun trying to figure them out lol!!
