Dressing Table w/ Decorative Truss Leg

Phoebe's been using the IKEA folding table as her dressing table since our last place.

It did the job, but it's a bit too bulky for the new space and it only has limited storage space.

So, the task was to build a slimmer table with some drawers as storage!

The previous owner of our house left a bunch of 2x2 pines in the garage,

instead of throwing them in the garbage bin,

I decided to use them to build a decorative leg for the table!

And since they are construction material, a truss-like design seemed fitting lol!!

This was also the first time I use solid wood in a project.

Although it's just pine and I did not do anything special,

the process and the outcome both felt better than just using plywood!!
